Custom Maps Google Maps doesn't allow you to create new terrain. However, you can add your own landmarks, routes, and locations.

You can also draw your own figures and other details to an existing map. Map editing is only available from the desktop, but viewing is possible from all devices:

1. Go to https://www.google.com/maps/.

2. Log in.

3. Click on the three bars in the upper left.

4. Select "My Places".

5. Go to the "Maps" tab.

6. Click "Create Map".

7. Enter a name and description.

8. Click on the triangle at the bottom to change the map view.

9. Click "Add Layer".

Now you can add your own items, routes, places, etc. To do this, use the panel that will appear under the search field.
